where are ya?
June-December, 2008
Probably the worst idea I’ve had seeing how the American Express and a few others (see below) were wondering…oh well, come and get me. I don’t have money for a flight back anyway.
Found out a month after leaving that the local ‘authorities’ were looking for me claiming my conjunction with ‘Tibetan support’, no doubt this has to do with the ‘Shanghai Diaries’ tv/online program I produced and hosted. Seeing how I can’t go back to China, my trip has been extended to the holidays, where I’ll head home to Mrs. Queen’s biscuits and gravy and Mr. Queen’s constant ability to be more sarcastic than I am.
Will be in:
Thailand
Indonesia
Myanmar
Thailand
Cambodia
Laos
India
Nepal
…then it’s back home for the holidays and then will be splitting time between Mexico and ___________ (have to be all secret ’cause it’s a big show production).

January 09 – present
I now live on a bus with a bar in The Keys.
February 09
Hanging out in the area for a bit – Berlin for friends, Bavaria for castles and Switzerland for Carnival.
March 09
Am now back in The Keys for a few more weeks before we make our way cross-country.
April 09
We’ve left the Keys and plan on hitting:
Georgia
Tennessee
Oklahoma
New Mexico
Arizona
Nevada
…before settling in Oregon.
June ‘09
I’ll head to Hawaii for a write-up/shoot.
Then to NYC for a few weeks.
Over to England for a few more.
And then to Norway to work on the book.
July ‘09
I left for Norway.
stopped in NYC.
met a girl there who came to see me in the UK.
I followed here back to her home in L.A.
Nov. 09
L.A. didn’t work out.
so I headed back to Oklahoma to eat.
to Philly to relax.
to NYC to explore.
to Boston to drink.
and am now headed to the UK for nostalgia.
Berlin for Christmas.
and Istanbul for New Years and to start an adventure.
February ‘10
I’m about to fly to Addis Ababa, with little money, but a camera and a decent gift for storytelling.
March ‘10
sooooo – Africa didn’t exactly work out. I ran out of money and ran back to the U.K. – where I ended up on the coast. and buying a boat.
