He’s a boy who liked to travel and somehow has convinced a few people that he can produce things like radio, podcasts and vidcasts, as well as dabbling in writing and film.

Aric S. Queen, previous American Clear Channel radio/television host, former executive producer of ChinesePod.com (named one of 2006’s ‘Top 10 Podcasts’ by Time Magazine), GigShanghai and Soul Fire Radio, executive producer of the Johnson & Johnson ‘Bao Bao Radio‘ series, director/producer of ‘theshanghaishow’ [now defunct] and ‘Urban Yoga‘. Having been named the leader of Shanghai’s ‘Creatives Class‘, he has worked to establish a platform to help other artists get set up in Shanghai. In his spare time, which he has a lot of, he produces shorts on Shanghai bands (which he used to write about for Shanghaiist) and writes a column for City Weekend-Shanghai. He is also a founding member of the art collaborative [the studio]. His previous daily vlog sent to US and UK televisions, titled: ‘Shanghai Diaries‘ (on Current TV) which earned him the 2008 ‘Most Prolific Vlogger Award‘, has now been combined with his travel/lifestyle show entitled ‘Shanghai [Exile] Diaires’, also on Current TV.

- As of November 24, 2008 – The Shanghai [Exile] Diaires has been picked up by a publisher for written release. Details to follow soon.
- As of December 3rd, 2008 – I signed on as Executive Producer for Christine Lu’s new show. Details to come.
- On April 6th, 2009, the new ‘rough sundays’ podcast launched with old gospel, blues, folk, motown and more. except that link probably doesn’t work, as I went over my usage limit. trust me that it was stellar.
- as of late November, 2009, I picked up a 5-story deal with Converse.
- January 30th, 2010 – am in North Africa and changed up the original plan to go Cairo-to-Capetown into a mass social media charity project.
- March 03, 2010 – so….that didn’t work. am on the southern coast of England, trying to figure it all out.
