I have a friend called Mimi.
she actually has helped in setting up this blog.
I just saw her in Austin for SXSW.
she was also due to be in Europe in a few weeks and I owed her a beer or two.
her persistence is what makes her a successful lady.
her persistence is what makes her a very funky lady.
her persistence may have just saved her life.

aww you’re sweet. you would not believe this but I actually tried calling someone that I’d recently dated in my panic. he didn’t take my calls, said that he was busy, and as I found out later, was fucking around on twitter the whole time I’d literally thought I was dying.
No joke.
Every now and then, you have to wonder if some people got dropped on their heads as kids.
On the flip side, total strangers helped me find info on H1N1 + hospitals where I could be treated. If I have to deal with one douche to get the rest of the awesomeness of the world, I guess the odds are still in my favour. We’ll have to figure out another spot for brews soon
Going through a time like that can be freaky went through something similar this weekend (with my eye not H1N1). Thankfully I turned out okay.

MissXu – you crack me up. I mean, sorry about the H1N1 thing, but somehow you come out of it with humor.
[sue them please - I'll take 5% publishing fee, k?]
JohnG – good to hear, man.
